Brita Brookes Photography shoots live music venues, concerts, festivals, studio sessions, backstage, candid, all access tour documentary style and artist portraits. I maintain professionalism and maintain artist privacy. Music is one of my better subjects. I try to capture the emotion of a performance or the personality of a performer in my work. I am inspired by the works of the great rock n roll photographers who have forged the path before me: Ken Regan, Ethan Russel, John Cohen, Tom Wright, Lynn Goldsmith, Annie Liebowitz, Leni Sinclair and many more.
