Glen Hansard | Michigan Theater

The Glen Hansard "He didn't Ramble" Tour rambled through Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor last week. It appeared close to being a sold out show and the crowd was super into the entire show. A fan of the movie "The Commitments" when it came out - it was great to see how far he has come. A deep repertoire of songs and stories and all with that awesome Irish perspective of life. The stage set was very well done and the lighting and textured backdrop made it feel like we were all in a pub in Dublin or someone's kitchen party on the coast.

I captured this image when Glen announced the birthday of one of his friends in Ann Arbor and had her come up and join him in a song or two. Special indeed!
